Helpful tips to get the most out of your website & social media
Tip #8
Appropriate Typography
When it comes to the typography to use on your website, there are thousands of different fonts to choose from, so which is best for your website?
Well first off, unless you're a primary school or other infant related website, Comic Sans is a definite no!
Google Fonts has a large selection of fonts that you can use on your site for free, categorised into serifs, sans serifs, monospace and handwritten fonts.
Handwritten fonts can make great headers and titles, but become very hard to read in large blocks, so it would be wise to avoid them for the main body content. Try out different combinations and see which look good together, but try and keep to using only two or three different fonts throughout the site.
