Don't autotweet your follower/unfollower numbers

There are many handy apps and websites out there where you can monitor your followers and unfollowers, enabling you to follow/unfollow back and analyse your following.

Some of these tools automatically tweet how many people have followed/unfollowed on a daily or weekly basis, but this is a major annoyance for many Twitter users, and could result in you losing even more followers. Afterall, why would they care how many people have followed or unfollowed this week?

Within the settings menu on whichever tool you use will be a setting where you can switch this free advert (that's all it is) off, allowing you to continue monitoring activity without annoying your followers.

There are plenty of meaningless tweets out there already. Share something worthwhile with your followers instead.
